| A - NOBLE PEOPLE, TREASURED LAND |
| | | |
The engines, machines and tools of old that have helped develop Southland are celebrated in the Annual Edendale Crank-up hosted by Edendale Vintage Machinery Club. Featured in this work is one of the highlights of this festive event, the Parade of Tractors.
Brass bands, pipe bands, stunt riders, marching girls, lolly scrambles, singers, and a host other activities add to the carnival atmosphere. Colin Meads and Richard Loe were the special celebrities in the January 2005 Crank-up, the year this scene was observed. |
