| This historic building served the burgeoning whaling and fishing industry of Rakiura in the earlier 20th century. The island now is a world class refuge for rare and endangered New Zealand flora and fauna. |
480 x 400 mm (Approximately 19 x 16 inches) on a floating frame made of gessoed MDF. The frame has been created especially to give the appearance of floating away from the wall. The edge of the image, which is approximately 2cm thick, has been hand gilt.
