Artist Statement
I have been drawing people all of my life. When I was young, I drew relatives, friends and people at the beach. Later on I took advantage of opportunities to draw from live models.
I have since become a college professor and a professional photographer, but I have never stopped drawing people. Periodically I exhibit my work in local galleries, and I sell my work online.
The drawings are from live models, and I often use them as the basis for watercolors or pastels.
