Spirit of Suffragettes-SOLD
This gal and the little boy hanging onto her apron tails (inset) are made out of bisque doll parts & twigs held together with wire. She holds a small rubber chicken, toy cooking pot & old baby spoon in one hand and an old Betty Crocker tm plastic buttering brush in the other. Various body parts are made from vintage kitchen tools and her "crown" is a canning jar lid, metal tuffy and toy clothes pins. The chain around her neck holds a key & old photos in locket. Her apron made from the inside of an old Coco tin says "WHAT WAS I THINKING AND WHERE'S THE KEY TO THAT DANG HARLEY" The small round sign in front sign says "SPIRIT OF THE SUFFRAGETTES-VOTE" and was the lid to same Coco tin.
As I recall she is roughly 17" tall including base. The price on this creature is $345.00
