Tropical Fish by Natalie Chapman
The images in this Gallery are all Geologic Microscopy, photographed through a very high powered Microscope at the University of the Okanagan, North Campus, Kelowna, BC, Canada. The images were selected laboratory slides, viewed through various lenses and cross-polorized to get the vibrant colorations. I used a Nikon F90X Camera body and the Geology Department's incredible microscopic lens. It was a very exciting experience to see these rather ordinary, muddy looking slides become these fabulous abstract images. I hope you will enjoy them and find them unusually beautiful, as I do.
