Artist Statement
My background is in visual and performing arts and my first career was as a performer and dance teacher. After a number of years in administrative work I returned to the visual arts and chose to work in watercolour. It has been an adventure full of surprises, delights and disappointments but it never ceases to fascinate and entice me to venture further, to take the next step discover its unique qualities. I love the challenge of working in this beautiful medium.
Biography
My early training was at the Arts Educational School in England. In Canada I have taken courses and workshops organized by the Federation of Canadian Artists and workshops sponsored by the organizations of which I am a member.
I am delighted that my work has been chosen by collectors in Canada, the United Kingdom and Taiwan.
