Artist Statement
I work with watercolours, acrylics and uses Mixed Techniques. I am inspired by the pigments on the paper, their motion, their light, their interference with the water. With years of experimentation I developed my own style and am constantly trying other medium and techniques that provoke textures and agreeable surprises.
My favourite is the Oriental Technique. A few brushstrokes on a silk paper and the creative process have begun. The results are always full of spectacular surprises.
My palette is in the warm tones. My paintings are happy I enjoy painting flowers, fruits, landscapes and sometimes abstracts.
Biography
A few years ago I took a course in Artistic Creation that featured many medium (watercolour, Ink, Acrylic and Techniques Mixtes. That was the start of my research for my personal development.
I had workshops in different medium and techniques over the years: Jacques Hébert, Shernya Veninsky, Gisèle Lapalme, Diane Boilard, Nicole Grisé, Raynald Murphy, Micheline Hadjis, Ginette Malouin, Rita Shellard...

Pauline is always looking for new adventures in the world of art, constantly experimenting to achieve other dimensions of creativity and visual beauty. She is an active member of the Hudson Artists Association. She has also donated paintings in helping great causes; Le Nichoir et le Centre de soins palléatifs de Vaudreuil-Soulanges, Quebec, Canada.
