Artist Statement
I was originally trained in photography but over the years, sculpture has become a big influence in my art work. Working in both medias is similar with the way light and shadow plays an important part in the appearance and feel. The process of cutting and welding abstract shapes into three-dimensional forms is very personal an gratifying. To let the work flow through your mind, then to a solid state, out through your hands is electrifying.
