Biography
"I am inspired by light on form and the beauty it creates. The interplay of light and shadow, resulting in patterns and colours that pop, always inspire me. As well, a sense of place, and the feeling drawn from that moment, become my subject matter. I need to recreate the emotion and beauty in that moment, through my art." An award winning artist, Claire Christinel has enjoyed a lifelong love of drawing and painting. She graduated in Design from Langara College in Vancouver, and works as a professional Display Designer and "I am inspired by light on form and the beauty it create Visual Artist. She has lived in both Paris and Toulouse France where she studied Fine Arts. Claire is best know for her vibrant, light filled still life paintings, as well as her west coast landscapes, and jazz themed paintings in oils and acrylics.
Claire is an Active Member of the Federation of Canadian Artists. Her paintings are in private and corporate collections in Canada, the United States and France.
